Will Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party return in 2022? Yes. Here’s how much it’ll cost.
Walt Disney World and Disneyland are going to have a very happy Christmas.
For the first time since the pandemic, Disney World is bringing back its well-liked Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The after-hours event was abandoned in 2020, and the Florida resort held a modified version of it the previous year called Mickey’s Very Merriest After Hours, which was more expensive than previous Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas celebrations.
The majority of Disneyland’s holiday activities are still unknown, but the California resort has confirmed that “World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure Park and the “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks, which made a pandemic return last year, will both be returning this year. In the upcoming months, more information will be disclosed.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates
This year’s event will be held on 24 nights at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
November 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27 and 29.
December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20 and 22.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not included with regular theme park admission. The specially ticketed, limited capacity event starts after Magic Kingdom closes to regular guests.
Benefits include entertainment tailored to the occasion, such as the popular Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Disney Junior Jingle Jam with Disney Junior characters. A holiday-themed commemorative keepsake, free cookies and hot cocoa, shorter queues for popular rides like Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Occasion, which are getting special festive twists only for the party, are also available to visitors.
What is the price of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Depending on the day, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2022 tickets cost between $149 and $199. That’s a lot less than Mickey’s Very Merriest After Hours, which cost between $169 and $229 last year. But it’s far more expensive than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s $94 starting price in 2019.
For visitors to specific Disney resorts, tickets go on sale June 30. The deadline for purchasing tickets for everyone else is July 7.
