New Free Nintendo Switch Online Games Come With a Huge Surprise
New SNES and NES games—more specifically, two new SNES games and one new NES game—are available for free to Nintendo Switch Online users.
These new freebies don't require the Expansion Pack tier of the subscription service, which is the more expensive tier of the subscription service
because they aren't Sega Genesis or N64 games. All you need is a standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription to download and play the three new games.
Fighter's History, Kirby's Avalanche, and Daiva Story 6: Imperial of Nirsartia are the names of the three games.
The latter is the NES game stated earlier, whereas the first two are the aforementioned SNES games.
Fighter's History, the first of these games, was created and published by Data East
It was first made available in arcades in 1993, and the NES version wasn't released until two years later, in 1995
In 1995, Nintendo served as publisher for the second of these three games, Kirby's Avalanche, which was released by HAL Laboratory, Compile, and Banpresto. Daiva Story 6
Imperial of Nirsartia, the third and final game, was released in 1986 by T&E Soft and Toshiba EMI, the former of which was the developer and the latter of which was the publisher.
This game, as you may know, has never been released in the West, thus its inclusion is very unexpected given that it is now accessible to players everywhere for the first time.
Nintendo has unsurprisingly created a new trailer showcasing the three games.
