NVIDIA Announces New AI-Powered Tools for the Omniverse
Founder and CEO Jensen Huang kicks off SIGGRAPH 2022 with news of the Metaverse while also unveiling a range of new developer frameworks,
tools, apps, and plugins to close the gap between the physical and virtual worlds.
Today at SIGGRAPH 2022, Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA
presented a video talk that covered the most recent developments in metaverse, graphics, and research as well as a wide selection of brand-new developer frameworks
tools, apps, and plugins for NVIDIA Omniverse. NVIDIA's construction platform for connecting metaverse worlds, which is based on Universal Scene Description (USD)
now has additional AI-powered tools and capabilities that make it simpler for creators to create virtual worlds and content.
The technologies also offer easy connection with popular 3D programmes including Siemens Xcelerator platform solutions, SideFX Houdini, PTC Creo, and SideFX Houdini.
Approximately 700 of the world's top businesses today use the multi-GPU scalable computing platform to improve product and architectural design,
streamline visual effects workflows, and create digital twins of factories, cities, and the entire planet.
Rev Lebaredian, vice president of Omniverse and simulation technologies at NVIDIA, said: "The metaverse is a multitrillion-dollar potential that enterprises know they can't ignore.
