The Xbox documentary has now won an Emmy
Various events were held to commemorate Xbox’s 20th birthday last fall, but one of the most impressive was a six-part documentary series called Power On: The Story of Xbox that chronicled the development of the entire Xbox franchise. It turned out to be an engaging story, but it was also nicely presented, had details both positive and negative for the brand, including information about Sony and Nintendo, and much more.
We found it to be far superior than our expectations, and the Daytime Emmy committee agreed, as the series was just given the prize for “Outstanding Single Camera Editing.” The documentary won at The Webby Awards back in April, making this its second significant honour.
