2022 Nivada Grenchen Datomaster
After Nivada Grenchen’s resurrection of the Chronomaster in 2020, the Swiss watchmaker has another retro chronograph in the works.
Another vintage chronograph is in the works from Swiss watchmaker Nivada Grenchen after the Chronomaster’s revival in 2020.
Fans of Nivada Grenchen have a second vintage-style chronograph to choose from with the Datomaster, which was released after the Chronomaster. The Datomaster will be offered in three eye-catching dial variations (black/white, white/black, and light gray/white), and it will have a 39 mm (46 mm lug-to-lug) stainless steel case with a slightly domed sapphire crystal, a thickness of 13.75 mm for the solid caseback version, and 13.95 mm for the sapphire caseback.
The Chronomaster has a unique, alternative appeal while yet being firmly vintage in design with to features like a two-register dial, attached indices, baton-shaped hands, orange accents on the chronograph seconds hand and minute counter, and the namesake date window at 12 o’clock.
The 2022 Nivada Grenchen Datomaster is displayed above wearing a bracelet with beads made of rice. The watch will be offered in the company’s wide range of straps and bracelets starting in October. Retail prices range from about $2,000 to $2,000, depending on the strap or bracelet you choose and whether you pre-order it.
